<br /> OF TEMPORARY SIGNS WITHIN THE COUNTY OF Washington
<br /> CITY.
<br /> F The City Council of the City of Hugo,
<br /> Washington County,Minnesota,hereby Duane A.Rasmussen,being duly sworn,on oath says he is and during all the times herein stated has been the publisher
<br /> Ordains: and printer of the newspaper known as the Forest Lake Times and has full knowledge of the facts herein stated as follows
<br /> 1. In Section 266-2, entitled,
<br /> "DEFINITIONS", inset'[ Subd. E.1 to Said newspaper is printed in the English language in newspaper format and in column and sheet form equivalent in printed
<br /> read9sfollows- space to at least 900 squre inches.Said newspaper is a weekly and is distributed at least once each week.Said newspaper
<br /> SIGN,ELECTION.A sign placed in has 509E of its news columns devoted to news of local interest to the community which it purports to serve and does not
<br /> such a manner as not to be permanently wholly duplicate any other publication and is not made up entirely of patents,plate matter and advertisements Said news-
<br /> affixed to any building, structure, or paper is circulated in and near the municipality which it purports to serve,has at least 500 copies regularly delivered to
<br /> land,and directing attention to a person
<br /> or persons seeking an elected office. paying subscribers,has an average of at least 75%of its total circulation currently paid or no more than three months in
<br /> 2. In Section 266-2, entitled, "SIGN, arrears and has entry as second-class matter in its local post-office.Said newspaper purports to serve the City of Forest

<br /> under "Number", and after the word public stating that the newspaper is a legal newspaper

<br /> PLICATION REVIEW PROCEDURE" `-

<br /> the following-
<br /> "Applications for temporary Sign
<br /> Permits shall be considered by the City
<br /> Council without reference to the Plan-
<br /> ning Commission. The City Council of
<br /> Hugo shall consider the application
<br /> within 30 days after filing."
<br /> 11. In Section 266-11, entitled,
<br /> "PENALTIES" in the third line after
<br /> "misdemeanor,"delete the followin -
<br /> "and upon conviction thereof be
<br /> subject to a fine or not more than Three
<br /> Hundred Dollars ($300.00), or im-
<br /> prisonment for noemore than 90 days,or
<br /> both,plus cost of prosecution."
<br /> EFFECTIVE DATE.This Ordinance
<br /> becomes effective upon its passage and
<br /> publication according to law,and upon
<br /> becoming effective shall be incorporated
<br /> in the City Code.
