ORDINANCE NO. 1976-131 <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 110, OF THE HUGO CITY CODE, <br /> ENTITLED, "FIRE PREVENTION AND PROTECTION" TO PROHIBIT OPEN <br /> BURNING, ELIMINATE FIRE WARDENS, AND ADOPT POLLUTION CONTROL <br /> AGENCY REGULATIONS BY REFERENCE. <br /> The City Council of the City of Hugo, Washington <br /> County, Minnesota hereby ordains: <br /> 1. Delete in their entirety the sections of the <br /> Hugo City Code identified as follows: <br /> A. Section 110-13, entitled, "Fire Wardens" ; <br /> B. Section 110-14 , entitled, "Starting Fires, <br /> Fire-Breaks; Unauthorized Fires" ; <br /> C. Section 110-15, entitled, "Permission to <br /> Start Fires; and <br /> D. Section 110-17, entitled, "Barrel Burning" . <br /> 2. Delete Section 110-16, entitled, "Adoption of Open <br /> Burning Regulations" , and insert in lieu thereof <br /> the following: <br /> "The provisions of APC-8, entitled "Air Pollution <br /> Control Regulation" and adopted March 12 , 1976, <br /> by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency, is <br /> hereby adopted by Reference, and made a part of <br /> this Chapter as though fully set forth herein, <br /> three (3) copies of which are on file in Office <br /> of the City Clerk. " <br /> 3. Add Section 110-20 as follows: <br /> "110-20. OPEN BURNING PROHIBITED. Open burning <br /> is prohibited in the City of Hugo, except as may <br /> be permitted by regulation of the Minnesota Pol- <br /> lution Control Agency. " <br /> 4 . The official copies of the Hugo City Code shall be <br /> amended to reflect the within changes upon passage <br /> and publication of this Ordinance. <br /> ADOPTED AND PASSED THIS /7 DAY !
