262-8. PLUMBING INSPECTOR. The Plumbing Inspector shall <br />examine all applications before construction is bugun <br />and after the construction, enlargement, alteration <br />or repair is completed, the Plumbing Inspector shall <br />be notified. It shall be unlawful to cover any <br />affected lines until an inspection has been made and <br />such connection and the work incidental thereto has <br />been approved by the City as a proper and suitable <br />connection. <br />It shall be the duty of the sewer installer and/or <br />plumber to notify the Plumbing Inspector by tele- <br />phone or in writing, not less than eight (8) work- <br />ing hours between the hours of 8 o'clock a.m. and <br />4 o'clock p.m. before work is to be inspected or <br />tested. <br />262-9. EXISTING DRAINAGE AND PLUMBING SYSTEMS. Prior to <br />connection to the public sanitary sewer system, the <br />Plumbing Inspector shall examine the existing drain- <br />age system and the interior pluMbing system. All <br />such systems shall conform to the requirements of <br />this Chapter and the requirements of the Minnesota <br />Plumbing Code. In the event that such drainage system <br />or plumbing system is determined to be non -conforming <br />to the above requirements, the contractor, owner, or <br />occupant shall do, or cause to be done, whatever correc- <br />tion work that may be neccessary before final hook-up <br />to the public sanitary sewer system is made. The de- <br />cision of the Plumbing Inspector as to the extent of the <br />corrective work to be done in each individual case to <br />conform to the above requirements shall be final. <br />262-10 INSTALLATION OF CONNECTIONS. All sewer services shall <br />be installed either by a master plumber licensed by the <br />State of Minnesota or a sewer installer licensed by the <br />City of Hugo. Only licensed plumbers may install, re- <br />pair or make alterations to the building drain or build- <br />ing sewer lines. <br />262-11 EXCAVATING WORK. <br />. A (12/l/75) Ord. 126 <br />
