7 JLY 26, 1976 MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING TIME: 7:10 P.M. PRESENT: LaValle, Leroux and Smith. ABSENT: Lease and Schletty. TRANSFER OF FUNDS MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Leroux, to pass Resolution #1976-47, a resolution to borrow $20,000 from the Water Department sinking fund and transfer to the Storm 3ewcr Construction Fund..1975-1 for a period not to exceed three years; interest to be paid at the rate of 6% per annum. VOTING FOR: LaValle, Leroux, and Smith. MOTION CARRIED MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Smith to pay RoSo Contract- ing Company $14,403.81 for estimate #4. VOTING FOR: LaValle, Leroux, and Smith. MOTION CARRIED STORM SEWER PROJECT MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Leroux, to set the cost of the Storm Sewer Project #1975-1 , at 50 per square foot, to be assessed over a ten year period at 7 % interest, and that 12 years interest will be charged for the first year; the clerk's office will prepare the assessment rolls. Prepayment may be made without interest within thirty days after approval of the assessment roll, the assessment hearing shall be held at 8:00 P.M. on September 9th, 1976 at the Hugo Elementary School. VOTING FOR: LaValle, Leroux, and Smith. MOTION CARRIED 148th Street Watermain Project Total front footage to be assessed - 1 ,023 feet. First 150' of corner lots not to be assessed. MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Leroux, to set the cost of the 148th Street Watermain Project at $8.00 per assess- able foot, to be paid over a five year period at 7i% int- erest; city to pay balance of cost. Hearing shall be held at 8:00 P.M. on August 16th at the Hugo City Hall. VOTING FOR: LaValle, Leroux, and Smith.
