<br /> Meeting called to order by Mayor Don Lease at 7:11 P.M.
<br /> PRESENT: Lease, Smith Schletty, LaValle, and Leroux
<br /> 3.0 APPROVAL OF MINUTES
<br /> Page 4 of the September 20, 1976, meeting should read Rice Lake Paul
<br /> Hugo Farms. Page 5 of same meeting - the street by the church should
<br /> be designed to go easterly and then northerly. Change the word chain
<br /> to read drain on same page.
<br /> MOTION: Lease made motion, seconded by LaValle, to approve the min-
<br /> utes of the September 20, 1976, meeting with the above
<br /> changes.
<br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, Smith, Schletty, LaValle, and Leroux
<br /> MOTION CARRIED
<br /> MOTION: Lease made motion, seconded by LaValle, to approve the minutes
<br /> of the special meeting for storm sewer assessment of Sept-
<br /> ember 21 , 1976, as is.
<br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, Smith, Schletty, LaValle, and Leroux.
<br /> MOTION CARRIED
<br /> 4.0 APPROVAL OF CLAIMS
<br /> MOTION: Lease made motion, seconded by Leroux, to approve the general
<br /> claims as presented.
<br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, Smith, Schletty, LaValle, and Leroux.

<br /> MOTION: Lease made motion, seconded by LaValle, to approve
<br /> utiltiy claims as presented.

<br /> Additional claims were presented. One to go under general claims to
<br /> LaValle Excavating for road work done on Ingersoll, Homestead, and
<br /> Europa Avenues. Work totaled at $4,372.13.
<br /> MOTION: Lease made motion, seconded by Leroux, to approve the addition
<br /> of the LaValle Excavating work to general claims for $4,372.13
<br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, Smith, Schletty, LaValle, and Leroux.
<br /> MOTION CARRIED
<br /> Additional claims were presented for utility payment. LaValle Excavating
<br /> presented invoices for fire hydrant repair ($120.00) , Post Office sewer
<br /> line to property line (792.34) , and 148th Street extension (Shepherd of
<br /> the Fields $5,957.77) . The City of Hugo is to pay $2,200.00 of the cost,
<br /> balance to be incurred by Shepherd of the Fields. Church is to be noti-
<br /> fied of the balance they owe.
<br /> MOTION: Schletty made motion, seconded by Smith, to approve the
<br /> addition of the above to the utility claims in the amount
<br /> of $3,112.34.
<br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, Smith, Schletty, LaValle, and Leroux.
<br /> MOTION CARRIED
<br /> Resolution 1976-53 A resolution certifying annual levy to county auditor,
<br /> general $93,283.30, outside limitation $20,829.50. Public pensions,
<br /> outside limitation should be changed to read $9,000.00
<br /> MOTION: Lease made motion, seconded by Smith, to approve Resolution
<br /> 1976-53 in the amount of $114,112.80.
<br /> VOTING FOR: Lease, Smith, Schletty, LaValle, and Leroux
<br /> MOTION CARRIED
<br /> Resolution 1976-54 A resolution to implament and to carry out a shade
<br /> tree disease control program pursuant to Section 18.023 of Minnesota
<br /> statutes and Minnesota rules, Agr. 101 to 106.
<br /> MOTION: Lease made motion, seconded by LaValle, to approve Resolution
<br /> 1976-54, shade tree diseased control program.
