<br /> 9.1 Part—time Tax Assessor
<br /> The clerk's office only had one response to its ad for a part—time assessor
<br /> and that was Mr. Langer. Mr. Langer has already been certified.
<br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Schletty, that the City Clerk
<br /> be directed to ask the applicant to come to the City Council
<br /> meeting of May 1 , 1978, to discuss the assessor's duties.
<br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail.
<br /> MOTION CARRIED
<br /> The City Clerk informed the Council that the Governor had signed a bill on
<br /> March 27, 1978 that removes CETA participants from PERA coverage.
<br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that James Fure
<br /> and Jeffrey Klarich, Hugo Police Department, be retained on
<br /> the PERA program.
<br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail.
<br /> MOTION CARRIED
<br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Schletty, that George Koland
<br /> be carried under PERA. The City of Hugo will. pick up part that
<br /> CETA doesn't.
<br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, and Vail.
<br /> MOTION CARRIED
<br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that PERA on balance
<br /> of employees that are covered by Social Security be dropped.

<br /> outside audit until budget time, and let for bids again in
<br /> August.

<br /> Jim Leroux — Mobile Home Petition
<br /> Mr. Leroux would like to have a mobile home installed on his property to help
<br /> care for his in—laws. He will construct a separate sewer system for the mobil-
<br /> home, and will hook up to the present water system.
<br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that a public hearing
<br /> be set for May 1 , 1978, Hugo City Hall, at 7:30 PM, to consider
<br /> the request of Jim Leroux for a Mobile Home Permit, under
<br /> Chapter 40, Aricle III, Subdivision D.
