63 <br /> MAY 21 , 1979 <br /> Darrell Tavernier - Licenses <br /> MOTION: Schletty made motion, seconded by Spitzer, to grant an <br /> OFF-SALE Non-Intoxicating Liquor and Soft Drink License <br /> to Darrell Tavernier, LAKEVIEW INN, in an amount of $20.00. <br /> VOTING FOR: Spitzer, Schletty and Irsfeld <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.6 Hugo Slow Pitch Tournament - On Sale Non-Intoxicating and Soft <br /> Drink License <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Schletty, to grant an <br /> On Sale Non Intoxicating Liquor and Soft Drink License <br /> for the Hugo Slow Pitch Tournament, June 2 •and 3, 1979, <br /> in the amount of $20.00. <br /> VOTING FOR: Spitzer, Schletty, and Irsfeld <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.4 Mid AMERICAN Metal Craft - Discussion on possible rezoning; <br /> Mr. Larson and Mr. Cleman, owners of Mid American Metal Craft, are in- <br /> terested in purchasing the old Arlington Furniture building. The land <br /> is zoned RB, and would not allow the type of work they are in. They <br /> would need a rezoning to Industrial. Spitzer stated that their course <br /> of action would be to apply for an rezoning and go through the necessary <br /> formalities. The City Council is unable to give any determination at <br /> this time. <br /> 5.7 Howard Moe - Amended Special Use Permit <br /> Mr. Moe was present, and stated that he has already planted the trees <br /> as requested by the Planning Commission. Councilman Schletty will in- <br /> spect the planting, and report to the City Clerk as to whether it con- <br /> forms to the City's requirements. Howard Kuusisto determined that the <br /> letter of credit to insure blacktopping would have to be submitted in <br /> the amount.,of $7,250.00. Mr. Moe stated that rather than submitting <br /> a letter of credit in the above mentioned amount, he Would have the <br /> blacktopping done by October, 1979. <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Schletty, to approve the <br /> Amended Special Use Permit for Howard Moe, B & H Auto Sales, <br /> 14057 Forest Boulevard, subject to the following conditions: <br /> 1 . That the access and egress to the business have a min- <br /> imum of 30' width driveway, hard surfaced. <br /> 2. That the area to be blacktopped, as proposed in the <br /> submitted Site Plan. <br /> 3. An irrevocable letter of credit, in the amount of <br /> $3,000.00, be provided to insure blacktopping by <br /> October 1 , 1979. <br /> 4. That minor body and paint work be allowed subject to <br /> all State and Federal regulations or codes for work <br />
