Federal program <br /> should be established. <br /> 7.2 Schedule meeting date for review of Police Contract <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, to set a <br /> Special Meeting of the Hugo City Council for June 26, <br /> 1979, at 8:00 P.M., for review of the Police Contract, <br /> and any other considerations. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Irsfeld and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 8.0 NEW BUSINESS <br /> The City has received a claim from Jim Brevig for removal of a City <br /> snowfence and delivery to City Hall in the amount of $25.00. It was <br /> determined that the fence was on City property. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Vail, to deny the claim <br /> of James Brevig, in the amount of $25.00, for removal of <br /> a snowfence and delivery to City Hall, because the fence <br /> was located on City property. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Irsfeld and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> Attorney Johnson has been in contact with Mr. Brevig's Attorney, Mr. <br /> Geck, regarding the Brevig dike matter. Mr. Joebush has signed the <br /> easement, and he will be contacting Richard Vail to obtain his signature <br /> on the easement. LaValle agreed that the City should try and obtain an <br /> extension of the agreement between the City and Brevig. <br /> Councilman Vail discussed the possibility of the upgrading of Ethan <br /> Avenue with the Oakshore Park owners. It was determined the City would <br /> only patch the area. If the owners wanted resurfacing, the improvement <br /> would be assessed. Councilman Schletty is to contact Washington County <br /> regarding this matter, to obtain cost of patching. <br /> r9.O CLERK <br /> Officer Jeff Kiarich is requesting authorization to reside in White <br /> Bear Lake while working for the Hugo Police Department. The City <br /> Council had no objection. The City Clerk was instructed to check <br /> with the Police Chief to see if this was a departmental policy. <br /> The City Council determined to not request an increase in the levy <br /> limitation for the City. <br />
