1.00 Minutes of the Proceeding of the SPECIAL MEETING of the <br /> Hugo City Council of JULY 31 , 1979 <br /> The Meeting was called to order by Mayor LaValle at 7:10 P.M. , to <br /> discuss the Police Contract. <br /> PRESENT: LaValle, Irsfeld and Spitzer <br /> ALSO: Charles Johnson, James Fure and John Jackson <br /> ABSENT: Schletty and Vail <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Irsfeld that Spitzer be <br /> appointed temporary secretary. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Irsfeld and Spitzer <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Spitzer that Jim Fure be <br /> appointed temporary acting Police Chief during Chief Barth's <br /> period of illness. - <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle., Irsfeld and Spitzer <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion that Pure be authorized to employ, at <br /> his discretion, Dave Woeltge, Mike Gibbs, Glen Reimer, and <br /> Jerry Nelson, to assist in the execution of the duties of <br /> the Police Department. Irsfeld seconded the motion. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Irsfeld and Spitzer <br /> FURE AND JACKSON LEFT AT 7:30 <br /> The terms of the proposed Police Contract were discussed. <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion that the Meetixg be adjourned at <br /> 9:35 P.M. Spitzer Seconded the motion. <br /> VOTING FOR: All aye. Motion Carried <br /> Dan Spitzer— Acting Secretary <br />
