AUGUST 20, 1979 111 5.12 Grace Development - Letters of Credit Grace Development's letters of credit to cover parking lot improvements in the Industrial Park and sewer extension to Lot 12, Block 1, Valley View Terrace, expire on September 1, 1979. Howard Kuusisto recommended that a 30 day extension be granted. MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Vail, that the City Clerk contact Grace Development requesting that they provide a 30 day extension on their letters of credit. If they are not extended by August 28, 1979, the Clerk is directed to call on the letters of credit. VOTING FOR: LaValle, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail MOTION CARRIED 5.13 Bald Eagle Sportsman Assn - Extension of hours on 8/25/79 Mr. Art Timm, president of the club, stated that the club was requesting an extension of 1i hours on August 25, . 1979, so the club could hold their championship shootoff. Normal closing time is 6:00 P.M. The Special Use Permit was reviewed, and LaValle stated that there was no provision in the permit to extend the hours on Saturdays. Attorney Johnson stated that because of the unusual circumstances, a trade -off could be made by extending the hours on 8/25/79 and requiring a 1i hour earlier closing on Sunday, August 26, 1979. MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that the Bald Eagle Sportsman Association be allowed to extend its hours on Saturday, August 25, 1979, for 1i hours in return for 1i hours early closing on Sunday, August 26, 1979. VOTING FOR: LaValle, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail MOTION CARRIED The City Clerk was directed to inform the Police Department of the change in hours, and Mr. Timm was instructed to provide a written request for the change in hours. 6.0 ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS 6.1 Ordinance # 61 - Benson Rezoning LaValle stated that this matter had been approved at the meeting of July 2, 1979. 6.2 Review Draft Ordinance for Site Plan Approval in RB and CB Districts Attorney Johnson stated that there was no design criteria in the draft. It should provide for building design, parking requirements, driveway, screening, etc. He stated that the Ordinance Committee might consider solar access protecting the sur- rounding property owners. MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that Ordinance 320-5 be referred to the Ordinance Committee with the direction that they come up with specific criteria, similar to Subdivision L - regulations for the Industrial District. 1 VOTING FOR: LaValle, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail MOTION CARRIED
