AUGUST 20, 1979 111 <br /> 5.12 Grace Development - Letters of Credit <br /> Grace Development's letters of credit to cover parking lot improvements in the <br /> Industrial Park and sewer extension to Lot 12, Block 1, Valley View Terrace, expire <br /> on September 1, 1979. Howard Kuusisto recommended that a 30 day extension be granted. <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Vail, that the City Clerk contact <br /> Grace Development requesting that they provide a 30 day extension on <br /> their letters of credit. If they are not extended by August 28, 1979, <br /> the Clerk is directed to call on the letters of credit. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.13 Bald Eagle Sportsman Assn - Extension of hours on 8/25/79 <br /> Mr. Art Timm, president of the club, stated that the club was requesting an extension <br /> of 1i hours on August 25, . 1979, so the club could hold their championship shootoff. <br /> Normal closing time is 6:00 P.M. The Special Use Permit was reviewed, and LaValle <br /> stated that there was no provision in the permit to extend the hours on Saturdays. <br /> Attorney Johnson stated that because of the unusual circumstances, a trade -off <br /> could be made by extending the hours on 8/25/79 and requiring a 1i hour earlier <br /> closing on Sunday, August 26, 1979. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that the Bald Eagle <br /> Sportsman Association be allowed to extend its hours on Saturday, <br /> August 25, 1979, for 1i hours in return for 1i hours early closing <br /> on Sunday, August 26, 1979. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> The City Clerk was directed to inform the Police Department of the change in hours, <br /> and Mr. Timm was instructed to provide a written request for the change in hours. <br /> 6.0 ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS <br /> 6.1 Ordinance # 61 - Benson Rezoning <br /> LaValle stated that this matter had been approved at the meeting of July 2, 1979. <br /> 6.2 Review Draft Ordinance for Site Plan Approval in RB and CB Districts <br /> Attorney Johnson stated that there was no design criteria in the draft. It should <br /> provide for building design, parking requirements, driveway, screening, etc. He <br /> stated that the Ordinance Committee might consider solar access protecting the sur- <br /> rounding property owners. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that Ordinance 320-5 be <br /> referred to the Ordinance Committee with the direction that they <br /> come up with specific criteria, similar to Subdivision L - regulations <br /> for the Industrial District. <br /> 1 VOTING FOR: LaValle, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br />
