NOVEMBER 5, 1979 <br /> Engineer - Cont. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by LaValle, to set a Special Meeting <br /> of the Hugo City Council for November 12, 1979, at 7:00 P.M. , for the <br /> purpose of discussion of Watermain Improvement Project 7906. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, to approve Job Order 47147 <br /> for Northwestern Bell to bury cable across 165th Street. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Irsfeld and Vail <br /> VOTING AGAINST: Schletty <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.9 Clerk <br /> The Clerk was instructed to advertise for the sale of the old copy machine for <br /> $100.00 - $150.00. <br /> The Fire Department has been delegated to maintain the hockey rink at the Hugo <br /> Elementary School. <br /> The Clerk stated that four unpaid REC charges has surfaced. The Clerk was directed <br /> to contact the appropriate parties to obtain their consent to having the charge <br /> certified on the tax roll over a three year period. <br /> Mr. Fischer is to be contacted regarding the repair of the blacktop of Irish <br /> Avenue. <br /> 7.0 ORDINANCES AND RESOLUTIONS <br /> 7.1 Gambling Ordinance <br /> Johnson stated that review that review of this draft has not been completed. <br /> 10.0 MISCELLANEOUS <br /> Police Reserves <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by LaValle, that acting Police Chief <br /> Fure be directed to reduce the number of hours for the part-time <br /> Police Officers to 50% for the balance of the month. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld and Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br />
