June 2, 1980 Page 65 <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Schletty, to approve the Special Use <br /> Permit for Lavina Duraine until June 30, 1981 , and Condition #2 of the <br /> permit be removed. <br /> LaValle withdrew his motion and Schletty his second. <br /> After further consideration, it was determined that a bond would be required to insure <br /> restoration of the property, and that condition should be a condition of the Special <br /> Use Permit. The city should be looking at the permits for the other Mining Permits. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Schletty, to approve the Special Use <br /> Permit for Lavina Duraine, applicant Richard Schuh, with all conditions <br /> as previously stated. <br /> Voting For: LaValle, Schletty, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.10 Fischer Construction - Mining Permit <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Schletty, to authorize renewal of the <br /> Mining Permit for Fischer Construction until June 30, 1981 , with all <br /> conditions as previously stated. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Schletty, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.7 Deane Stedt - Site Plan Approval <br /> Mr. Stedt, 7416 132nd Street, has constructed a 32 x 63 pole barn that he will be using <br /> for the storage of soybeans, corn and insulation. His original application was for a <br /> Speical Use Permit for construction of an accessory building prior to the principal <br /> building. The barn has been constructed on a 40 acre parcel which is not attached <br /> to the parcel with the house. Attorney Johnson stated that there was nothing in the <br /> ordinance stating that the principal building has to be a house. LaValle stated that <br /> the city will have to look at any problems for a commercial business, if and when, <br /> there are any complaints. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Schletty, to approve the Site Plan for <br /> Deane Stedt for the construction of a 32 x 63 pole building to be used <br /> for agricultural purposes. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Schletty, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 6.0 REPORTS OF OFFICERS & COMMITTEES <br /> 6.1 Ordinance Committee <br /> The Clerk was instructed to place an ad in the newspaper to advertise for the vacancies <br /> on the committee. <br /> 6.2 Planning Commission <br /> The Planning Commission requested that the City Council request an extension for sub- <br /> mittal of the city's Comprehensive Plan. Attorney Johnson will contact Carl Dale <br /> regarding the procedure. <br />
