Page 72 <br /> July 7, 1980 <br /> 5.6 Wildwood Development - SUP, Minor Subdivision, Variances (2) <br /> Mr. Richard Granger was present and reiterated the reasons variances would be <br /> required. One of the variances is for rear yard setback, and stated that the <br /> proposed building could be moved ahead calling for the variance for front yard <br /> setback instead. He also requested the Council consider the possibility of an <br /> additional two garages which wouldprovide a garage for each unit (8 units) . <br /> The additional space in the rear would provide more adequate space for snowpiling. <br /> The drainage plan met with the approval of the City Engineer. All drainage will <br /> go to the south (148th Street) . <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Vail, to approve the Minor Subdivision <br /> for Ronald Granger to transfer 15' from Lot A and attach to Lot B. <br /> An additional 12' private easement for purposes of entrance, egress, <br /> and drainage, as necessary, shall be granted to the owner of Lot B <br /> and recorded with the transfer. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Vail, to grant a Variance to <br /> Wildwood Development from the required lot size of 20,000 square feet <br /> down to 14,000 square feet. The 14,000 sq ft exists without the <br /> easement. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Vail, that a Variance be granted <br /> to Wildwood Development to have parking up to the easement on the <br /> west property line and to construct and have parking up to 10' of <br /> the south property line. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: Spitzer made motion, seconded by Vail, to grant a Special Use Permit <br /> to Wildwood Development to construct a multi-family unit in the SFU <br /> zone at the following location (see legal) and subject to the following <br /> conditions: <br /> 1 . The developer to construct the building, blacktop driveway, <br /> parking facility, and landscaping, as indicated on submitted <br /> Site Plan, except that main building is to be moved southerly 10' , <br /> and the garage as shown will be extended southerly to provide <br /> for two additional parking stalls. Said garage to be no closer <br /> than 10' from the southerly property line. <br /> 2. The developer is to comply with all requirements for drainage as <br /> required by the City Engineer. <br /> 3. The building to be constructed of the materials and the approxi- <br /> mate colors as indicated. <br />
