There were no comments from the public. The Public hearing was <br /> closed at 7:31 PM. <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Spitzer, that the revenue sharing <br /> funds be placed in the road budget. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsfeld, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> Teddy Peltier, chairwoman of the Ordinance Committee, was present to inquire as <br /> to the concensus of the City Council regarding the proposed ordinance for the <br /> abolishment of the rural and urban taxing districts. Councilman Schletty was <br /> alone in his dissent to abolish both taxing districts. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Schletty, that the City Clerk be <br /> directed to submit the necessary registration fees for the workshop <br /> for Land Use Control, to be held at the University of Minnesota. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, Spitzer, Schletty, Irsf e ld,Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> Robert Lockyear, Washington County Planner, should be returning the city's <br /> Comprehensive Plan by the meeting of 11/360. If necessary, Mr. Lockyear should <br /> be invited to the meeting to answer any questions the citymay have. <br /> Richard Granger - Release of Letter of Credit <br /> Mr. Granger, Wildwood Developers, was present and requested that his $8,000 <br /> Letter of Credit, covering landscaping and blacktopping improvements at 5750 <br /> 148th Street, be released. The council determined that the financial guarantee <br /> should be held until spring to assure that these improvements are in good condi- <br /> tion after the winter months. <br />
