<br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by McAllister, to adopt RESOLUTION 1981-11 ,
<br /> A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A SPEED LIMIT, IN THE CITY OF HUGO, A SPEED
<br /> LIMIT OF 30 MILES PER HOUR, ON INGERSOLL AVENUE NORTH FROM COUNTY ROAD 10
<br /> (122ND STREET) TO DEAD END APPROXIMATELY 4/5'S MILE, AND HOMESTEAD DRIVE
<br /> FROM 125TH STREET NORTH TO THE DEAD END.
<br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Vail

<br /> 5.10 Garbage Licenses
<br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, seconded by Schletty, to grant a license for the
<br /> collection of garbage and rubbish in the City of Hugo to the following:
<br /> MCS REFUSE, INC. , BELLAIRE SANITATION, MARONEY'S SERVICE, DO ALL SERVICE,
<br /> AND WOODLAND SANITARY SERVICE, for a fee of $50.00, under Chapter 120 of
<br /> the Hugo City Code.
<br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Vail
<br /> MOTION CARRIED
<br /> 5.11 Fire Chief - Request to Purchase Equipment
<br /> Ron Istvanovich, Fire Chief, was present to make the following requests:
<br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, seconded by LaValle, that the Fire Chief be.
<br /> authorized to purchase a portable pump in the amount of $1 ,493.00.
<br /> Fees to be paid from the Utility Account.
<br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Vail

<br /> The Fire Department had budgeted $1500 for 1981 to purchase 4" hose. They would
<br /> like to purhcase instead a Scott air pack for $950.00 and one length(100' ) of 4"
<br /> hose for $630.00.
<br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Schletty, that the Fire Chief be authorized
<br /> to purchase 4" hose in the amount of $630.00, and one Scott air pack, in
<br /> the amount of $950.00..

<br /> For the record - eliminate 200' of 4" hose from the Fire Department's 1981 budget.
<br /> The Fire Chief would like to send one person to the Fire Chief's Conference in
<br /> Alexandria, October 15, 16, and 17th.
<br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, seconded by Vail, authorizing the Fire Chief to
<br /> send one personto the State Fire Chief's Conference, for an amount not
<br /> to exceed $220.00.
