August 17, 1981 <br /> be released from the bonding provisions. They have promised to restore the pit <br /> per their agreement with Mr. Goiffon., <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Schletty, that the bond for Barton <br /> Contracting be allowed to expire. A letter to be submitted to Barton <br /> stating such, and that the City expects them to restore the pit per <br /> their agreement with Mr. Andrew Goiffon. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> The Clerk stated that the bank in Hugo contacted her= regarding the vacation of an <br /> easement that shows up on their abstract for land purchased from the Pioneer Club. <br /> MOTION: McAllister .made motion, seconded by LaValle, that the 1st State Bank of <br /> Hugo be requested to provide a letter stating the nature of their request <br /> regarding the easement, and that the City Attorney be instructed to draft <br /> necessary documents to vacate the easement. The bank is to be notified <br /> that they will be billed for the legal cost in vacating the easement. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Vail <br /> ABSTAINED: Schletty <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> The Clerk received a call from the Highway Department regarding signs that have been <br /> vandalized. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, seconded by Vail, that Councilman Schletty be <br /> authorized to take the appropriate action for replacement of the. signs. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 10.0 MISCELLANEOUS <br /> McAllister stated that Mr. Peloquin should pay for previous legal and engineering <br /> fees for the Peloquin Industrial Park subdivision prior to acceptance of another <br /> permit. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, seconded by Vail, that the fees for the Peloquin <br /> Industrial Park subdivision that is now void be collected by the City <br /> Clerk's office prior to any consideration of a new application for sub- <br /> division in the Peloquin Industrial Park. <br /> VOTING FOR: McAllister, Schletty, Vail <br /> VOTING AGAINST: LaValle <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> Engineer Kuusisto and Councilman McAllister made an inspection of the roof on City <br /> Hailipg Haid it to be in need of major repair. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, seconded by Vail, that the City Engineer be re- <br /> quested to draft the engineering documents necessary for the bidding <br /> process for repair of the roof. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br />
