October 5, 1981 <br /> the adjoining property owner. No application had been submitted for that particular <br /> sale of land. LaValle suggested Mr. LaCasse appear before the Council after he has <br /> obtained the following information: <br /> 1. Accurate survey showing what is reflected on deed. <br /> 2. Proof of ownership (50' exception and 100' x 10' piece) <br /> 3. Deed for triangular piece of property. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that the application from Art <br /> LaCasse for Minor Subdivision be tabled until the City received a. corrected <br /> survey and necessary proof of ownership, along with separate deeds re- <br /> flecting each transaction. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Irsfeld, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 5.9 Metro Steel - Site Plan Approval <br /> Dan Eldridge, owner of Metro Steel, is proposing the construction of a 2000 sq ft <br /> addition to the existing office. There will be no new employees. Mr. Eldridge has <br /> made application to Rice Creek, but did not have a drainage plan at this time. <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, seconded by Schletty, to approve the Site Plan for <br /> Metropolitan Steel for the construction of a 2000 sq ft addition to his <br /> present office space, and subject to the City Engineer approving the <br /> drainage plan, and obtaining necessary permits from Rice Creek. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Irsfeld, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MISCELLANEOUS <br /> Jim Husnik was present and asked the Council if he could7approval for his land in <br /> Peloquin Industrial Park if he subdivided separately, or if he and Vern should go <br /> together. LaValle stated that his question could not be answered, but if he complied <br /> with all the requirements of the checklist for subdivision, he thould have no problems. <br /> Axel. Lundblad was present to discuss the James Johnson property located on 132nd St. <br /> The Hillcrest State Bank has evidently taken title to Mr. Johnson house and land, <br /> and Mr. Lundblad was questioning whether they could sell the house with only 5 acres <br /> seeing as the zoning is 10 acres. If that was approved, Lundblad was wondering <br /> whether he could build on his 5 acres. McAllister suggested that Mr. Lundblad <br /> submit his question and comments in writing to the City Council, and they will then <br /> act on that document. <br /> 6.0 REPORTS OF OFFICERS& COMMITTEES <br /> 6.1 -Ordinanee •Committee <br /> Theodora Peltier was present, and stated that the ordinance committee has not taken <br /> any action on the new subdivision regulations. Mr. Johnson stated that he will con- <br /> tact the county recorder and report his findings to Mrs. Peltier. <br /> 6.2 Planning Commission <br /> Mrs. Peltier questioned the Council as to how the City was going to handle the com- <br /> ments, as related to the submitted Comp Plan. McAllister stated that he would work <br />
