18 <br /> February 16, 1982 <br /> The attorney reviewed the Capital City Mutual Aid Contract, and found paragraph 10, <br /> Hold Harmless, to be ambiguous. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that the City Clerk submit the <br /> excerpt from Mr. Johnson's letter of 2/2/82, addressing the Hold Harmless <br /> clause, to the Mutual Aid Association asking them to give us their in- <br /> terpretation of Paragraph 10. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Irsfeld, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> 10.0 CLERK <br /> Jim Husnik, manager of the American Legion, was present to discuss the proposed <br /> 2700 sq ft addition to the club. Jim was inquiring as to how many SACS and RECS <br /> would be required. LaValle stated that one ( 1 ) SAC and REC would be charged, <br /> and the city would monitor the amount of water usage for one year. The property <br /> is zoned SFU, and the Legion would need a Special Use Permit to construct the <br /> addition. The Planning Commission has the option to hold a public hearing. <br /> On Sale <br /> The Hugo Lions Club has applied for a/non-intoxicating Malt Liquor License. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, to grant an ON SALE NON-INTOXI- <br /> CATING MALT LIQUOR LICENSE to the Hugo Lions Club for the year 1982. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, Schletty, Irsfeld, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, seconded by Irsfeld, that the Hugo Lions Club <br /> be allowed to use their ON SALE NON-INTOXICATING MALT LIQUOR LICENSE <br /> on June 4, 5, 6, 1982. The Lions Club has been granted exclusive use <br /> of the city park for those days, subject to proyding clerk's office with <br /> both general liability insurance and insurance under the Minnesota <br /> Liquor Liability Act. <br /> VOTING FOR: LaValle, McAllister, SChletty, Irsfeld, Vail <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> The City received a letter from Bill DeJarlais, Vice President of the Lions Club, <br /> requesting that Mike McAllister make security arrangements for Good Neighbor Days <br /> on behalf of the Lions Club. There was discussion as to the number of people <br /> expected at the dance and the amount of security required. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motion, seconded by Schletty, that McAllister investigate the <br /> matter and present a report to the City Council on security for Good <br /> Neighbor Days. <br /> LaValle withdrew his motion. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, seconded by Vail, that the Council-at-Large be <br /> designated as official security and police representative to Washington <br /> County Sheriff's Office for Good Neighbor Days. <br /> VOTING FOR: McAllister, Schletty, Irsfeld, Vail <br /> VOTING AGAINST: LaValle <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br />
