Mr. Norton had submitted a plan to Mr. Kuu- <br /> sisto for the removal of fill from the lot, and it was determined <br /> that there was insufficient time in which to thoroughly discuss the <br /> proposal. Mr. Norton also requested an extension in which to satisfy <br /> the conditions of the SUP. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Vail seconded, that Item 1 of the <br /> Special Use Permit be extended to September 20, 1982, at <br /> 1 :30 PM for Mr. Norton to satisfy the specific conditions <br /> of the SUP. <br /> Mr. Norton stated that he understood that the rest of the conditions <br /> have to be met by that time. <br /> VOTING FOR: McAllister, Schletty, Irsfeld, Vail <br /> VOTING AGAINST: I,aValle <br /> MOTION CARRIED <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, Schletty seconded, to place the John <br /> Norton matter on the agenda for September 7, 1982, at which <br /> time supplied information submitted to Kuusisto will be <br /> reviewed and request Mr. Kuusisto be present at this meeting. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> ENGINEER <br /> The city received a response to their letter regarding the pur- <br /> chase of gravel from Fischer Construction, Hanson pit. Councilman <br /> Schletty will contact Mr. Hanson regarding the agreement between <br /> him, as owner, and the city. Attorney Johnson take care of the <br /> legal documents necessary for the city to make the pchase. <br /> 10.0 CLERK <br /> Kathy Marier had resigned as an employee of the city effective 8/12/82. <br /> An ad was placed to fill the vacancy, and the clerk questioned the <br /> Council whether they had any opposition to the new employee taking <br /> over as Planning Commission secretary. It was the consensus of the <br /> Council that this would not create any p blew. It was also their <br /> feeling that $3.50/hour, to start, would74dequate compensation. <br /> MOTION: LaValle made motinn, Irsfeld seconded, to grant an ON SALE <br /> NON-INTOXICATING LIQUOR LICENSE, to St. John the Baptist <br /> Church, for one day only (8/29/82) . <br /> All aye.
