Motion Carried. <br /> 5.5 Harley Johnson, Jr., - Special Use Permit <br /> Mt. Johnson, 14196 Fenway, is proposing the construction of a 48 x 63 pole barn <br /> to be used for storage of equipment used in the sod business. The property is <br /> zoned RRI, which allows for 1800 square feet without a Special Use Permit. Tan <br /> Crever conveyed his thoughts that the building (3024 square feet) was too large <br /> for a residential area. Although Mr. Johnson owns 10 acres, the building size <br /> allowed with Site Plan Approval only is determined by zoning. <br /> MOTION: Irsfeld made motion, Schletty seconded, to approve the Special Use Permit <br /> for Harley Johnson, Jr. , 14196 Fenway Avenue North, for the construction <br /> of a 48 x 63 pole building to be used in the sod business, and subject <br /> to the Special Use Permit application being signed and paid for. <br /> All aye. Crever submitted his monthly report. <br /> 6.5 Fire Chief - No discussion <br /> 6.6 Clerk <br /> The city received a letter from Suburban Engineering to offer assistance, if needed, <br /> for theimplementat ion of the Surface Water Management Act. It was Mayor LaValle's <br /> feeling that Hugo should not participate in a stormwater management program of <br /> its own because of the cost factor. <br /> NL7I'iON: Schletty made motion, McAl lis ter seconded, that the City of Hugo send a <br /> letter to Suburban Engineering stating that we are not interested in their <br /> services at this time. <br /> All aye. Motion Carried. <br /> The city received a letter from Harry and Susan Rudisill regarding the proposed <br /> use of land in Forest Lake Township by the White Bear Rod and Gun Club. The Council <br /> restated that the City of Hugo has no control over the land use in Forest Lake <br /> Township. If the use could be accomplished only by rezoning, then the city would <br /> be able to make cent. <br /> MOTION: McAllister made motion, Irsfeld seconded, that a copy of the Planning <br /> Commission's response to Forest Lake Township be forwarded to the Rudi- <br /> sills' attention. <br /> All aye.
