the June 2014 competitive process. The outcome of the state's future funding round will not
allow the County to meet its HUD deadlines. Thus the 2013 CDBG & HOME funds already
approved have been swapped or reallocated to two other shovel ready projects.
In the place of 2013 CDBG & HOME funds already awarded to Piccadilly Square, 2014 and
2015 are reserved for this project for both federal programs. This project is now identified as a
pipeline project for 2015 with a partial reservation of 2014 CDBG funds totaling $142,632.04
and a partial reservation of HOME funds totaling $59,741.56. Additional 2015 CDBG & HOME
funds are pledged/reserved to add up to the original CDBG award amount of $352,709.87.
The 2013/2015 program year funding swap will be completed following the Fall 2014 MHFA
funding announcements and the County's 2015 Annual Action Plan process and a competitive
RFP for 2015 may or may not be necessary given the pipeline project.
2014 and 2015 CDBG and HOME funds are recommended for this project application to complete the funding year
swap with 2013 fund in order to allow the project more time and for the county to meet HUD requirements. This
project would meet high priorities of the 2011-2014 Consolidated Plan by serving the elderly and households at 0-
80% of area median income.
Applicant: Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity (CHDO) Inc
Title: Generation Acres —Single Family home development
Location: City of Hugo
Amount Requested: $350,000.00 2013 HOME
Recommended Funding: $116,986.92 2014 HOME
$198,013.08 2013 HOME
;.V
ai
•r 9s-:»:1 : 1, A C R
}::.)YEA: YY_i•:. .M1 -
Y
-S
