' N C Continuing Education Credit Policy <br />:_R <br />For Other Organizations <br />MNCAR is a qualified provider of commercial real estate continuing education credits through the MN <br />Department of Commerce. if you'd like MNC4R's help in applying for, receiving approval for and <br />submitting CE credit far CRE brokers at a program or event you're facilitating, we've put together the <br />following guidelines: <br />You or someone in your organization must be a current MNCAR member. <br />MNCAR requires the following information be submitted to our office at least 43 days in <br />advance of your program date: <br />o Course outline broken out into 15 -minute segments (we'll provide a sample for you). <br />o Brief biographies for each person speaking or moderating, including their contact info. <br />o $150 administrative fee to MNCAR (this covers paperwork that needs to be submitted <br />to the D.O.C. and uploading attendance information for up to 10 licensed brokers after <br />the program). <br />o $10 Department of Commerce fee per credit hour (for example, a 2.0 hour program <br />would be 2.0 CE credits = $20). This can either be included along with the MNCAR <br />administrative fee or you may write a separate check made out to the Department of <br />Commerce and we'll submit that with your paperwork. <br />o If more than 10 licensed CRE brokers attend your program and MNCAR needs to upload <br />more than 10 CE submissions, MNCAR will charge an additional $10 for each additional <br />submission. <br />• Your commitment to add wording to your promotional invites that states "CRE Continuing <br />Education Credits applied for by MNCAR" along with our logo. <br />As a qualified provider, we must adhere to strict guidelines put forward by the Department of <br />Commerce. In order to submit for CE credit under our organization's name, we need to ensure those <br />quidelines are met at each program we're providing CE applications for. <br />Please submit a program schedule to Beth Keen at MNCAR, beth@mncar.org. A MNCAR representative <br />may attend the program to ensure that signatures are being obtained in accordance to the Department <br />of Commerce quidelines that we must adhere to. <br />Please note: All credit distribution is pending Department of Commerce CE approval. There may be a <br />case where a CE application is not approved by the Department of Commerce and we would not be <br />able to distribute credits for any course not officially approved by the Department of Commerce. <br />Questions?
