School District Elections <br />oln th <br />The compost site is located on the <br />south side of 170th Street North ap- <br />proximately 1/2 <br />mile west of High- <br />way 61. The site <br />is open for Hugo <br />residents only. Be <br />prepared to show <br />proof of residency. <br />• No commercial <br />dumping is <br />allowed. The site <br />is open April <br />15th through <br />November 1st <br />on Wednesdays from 4pm to Bpm <br />or dusk and Saturdays from 10:00am <br />to 5:00pm. <br />This is a deposit site for grass clip- <br />pings, leaves, and soft organic matter <br />only. Garbage or material in non - <br />composting bags is not allowed. No <br />brush, twigs, branches or woody <br />materials accepted. There is a $5 fee <br />for dropping off materials. There has <br />been misuse of the compost site which <br />is why the minimal fee is now being <br />charged. Tour cooperation with these <br />regulations is greatly appreciated. If <br />you need to dispose of materials not <br />allowed at the compost site, alterna- <br />tives include private composting and <br />recycling companies. Burning permits <br />for fires larger than 3 feet by 3 feet can <br />be picked up at Hugo City Hall. <br />The City of Hugo is split into four different school districts. Three of those <br />four districts will have an election this fall. Polling places are open from 7:00am <br />.. t <br />to 8:00pm For more information on ballot questions, contact your school dis- <br />trict.
