Page 4 <br />Economic Development EXTRA! <br />Ground Breaking at Keystone Place at LaValle Fields <br />In November, the EDA and City Council attended the ground breaking for Keystone Place at LaValle Fields. <br />Keystone Place is a 100 unit <br />senior housing facility including <br />independent living, assisted <br />living and memory care. It is a <br />three-story building on a five -acre <br />piece of land. There are additional <br />phases of the development that <br />include three market rate apart- <br />ment buildings with a total of 165 <br />units. Two acres of land was <br />dedicated to the City for park <br />purposes with this development. <br />The land will expand Lions Park <br />and will be planned with the <br />Lions Park Master Plan. Finale <br />Avenue between 145th Street and <br />146th Street will be reconstructed <br />in the Summer of 2015. The <br />building is currently under construction and is planned to be complete in August of 2015. For more information on <br />Keystone Place at LaValle Fields please call (651) 888-6557. <br />O'Reilly Auto Parts Receives Site Plan Approval <br />In early 2015, O'Reilly Auto Parts presented a site plan to the City Council for a retail auto parts building on the <br />former Ricci's Property (14777 Forest Blvd). The property is currently vacant. The site plan included a 7,000 square <br />foot building and a parking lot. The building meets the downtown design guidelines using rock -face block and brick <br />VIEW FROM SOUTHEAST (ALONG 147TH ST. N.) <br />Stillwater School District Referendum <br />as the main building <br />material. With the <br />construction season <br />ahead of us, staff <br />expects to see a build- <br />ing permit application <br />soon for the auto <br />parts store. <br />Residents in the Stillwater School District are asked to vote on Tuesday, May 12, 2015 on whether the School District <br />should issue bonds for acquisition and betterment of the District's school sites and facilities. District residents can <br />vote at the Rice Lake Centre located at 6900 137th Street North. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. If you are <br />unable to get to the polls on May 12th, you can absentee vote beginning March 27th at the Headwaters Service Center <br />in Forest Lake, Washington County Government Center in Stillwater, the Woodbury Service Center, or the Cottage <br />Grove Service Center. <br />A copy of the ballot question can be found on the City of Hugo's website at www.ci.hugo.mn.us/elections <br />
