Tips from Join the Team The Hugo Fire Department values integrity, respect, teamwork, and a positive attitude. They provide fire and rescue service for all of Hugo and exist as a part-time, paid on call Fire Department. Hugo Firefighters are leaders in our community through education, prevention, and professionalism. Their training is frequent and rigorous, and their work is demanding, but the rewards for their dedication is abundant. If you want to learn new skills, build your training and education, take on new challenges, and work in a team YOU should be involved in our community as a Hugo Firefighter. Hugo Fire Department Fun Run Support the Hugo Fire Department and run along with real firefighters by participating in the Fearless Firefighter Fun Runs on Saturday, October 3, 2015. Rain or shine, come join the fun! Both the 5K and the Children's Trick -or -Treating Half -Mile Run begin and end at the Hugo Fire Department. Candy stops will be along the children's route, so kids, wear your favorite costume! Proceeds support the Hugo Fire Department.
