Public Works Director Chris Petree will work with Mr. Petersen to program these items. V. Lions Park Improvements -Fencing Public Works Director Chris Petree informed the Parks Commission that the Lions Club recently constructed a permanent fence off of the Tennis Courts at Lions Park to help facilitate the events for Good Neighbor Days. City Staff approved construction of this fence and found it to be a minimal impact on the recreational use of the Park. VI. Skate Park Update Public Works Director Chris Petree provided the Parks Commission with a brief update of the skate park that is being considered at Podvin Park in White Bear Lake. The City of White Bear Lake is currently working with the School District for development of the skate park and will be deciding on the specifics of the skate park in the near future. Public Works Director Chris Petree will provide updates as this project moves forward. VII. Diamond Point Park Damage Public Works Director Chris Petree informed the Parks Commission that Diamond Point Park was vandalized on October 31, 2006 at approximately 9:30pm. The vandals set fire to a trash receptacle and two picnic tables and broke off three trees. The fire also caused considerable damage to the picnic shelter and the concrete plaza located beneath it. Public Works Director Chris Petree is working with the City's insurance company to repair the damaged items and the Washington County Sheriff's department is investigating the incident.
