III. Update on Hanson Property <br />Taylor informed preliminary purchase agreement was presented to Attorney Dave <br />Hebert for the Hanson Property. Included in this agreement was a clause referring to <br />property and house debris removal. <br />IV. Letter from White Bear Baseball Association President, Jon Peterson <br />Scott Anderson Public Works Director presented the letter submitted by John <br />Peterson, President of White Bear Baseball Association. The growth on this <br />program is increasing with currently a third of the population being Hugo youth. <br />Future discussions will continue about the need of more baseball fields in Hugo. <br />V. Rice Lake Park Update <br />Scott Anderson Public Works Director provided copies of the schematic design plans <br />prepared from Landform. Ground breaking will begin in the spring. <br />VI. Update from Parks/Recreation Intern <br />Scott Anderson Public Works Director introduced Shayla Syverson the Economic <br />Development/Parks Intern. Shayla explained her main role in the City is working with <br />the Parks Commission on managing the future Rice Lake Park athletic facility and <br />working on program information. <br />VII. Other <br />Tot Time <br />Berger informed the need of expanding Tot Time programs to include an additional <br />day. A meeting has been set up in two weeks with Dave Gunther the Director of <br />Community Service to discuss the options. Program focus needs to include <br />opportunities to help connect families in the community with lack of gathering <br />locations currently available in the City. <br />Rice Lake Park Soccer Fields <br />Scott Anderson Public Works Director made a motion, Russell Schmidt seconded to <br />not open Rice Lake Park Athletic Fields until 2010 with no scheduling or organized <br />activities until opening date. <br />All Aye. Motion Carried. <br />
