VII. Uadate on WBL Communitv Services and Recreation Matchina Grant Proaram <br />Taylor informed the commission of a recent meeting with White Bear Lake Community <br />Service and Recreation Department in which the opportunity to apply for their Matching <br />Grant Program became known. The grant application was submitted, requesting <br />matching funds in the amount of $3,525 for the purchase of soccer goals and nets for <br />the Hanifil Fields Athletic Park. At the WBL Community Service and Recreation <br />Department meeting, Tot time at the Oneka Elementary school was also discussed. Tot <br />Time was also allotted an additional weekday night due to high community attendance <br />levels in lieu of continuing Open Gym. <br />Taylor made a motion, Clarke seconded to support the grant application and have <br />further dialog on funding for the equipment needs. <br />Larsen Abstained from voting <br />Nay. Dave Strub <br />Aye. Rachel Berger, Kris Birch, Roger Clarke, Mat Rauschendorfer, Jim Taylor, Noel <br />Schmidt, Tom Windisch <br />Motion carried. <br />X.
