Minutes <br />Parks Commission, City of Hugo <br />June 13, 2012 <br />7:00 P.M. <br />Council Chambers, City Hall <br />Call to Order <br />Present: Joan Benner, Rachel Berger, Chris Boland, Roger Clarke, Dave Strub, <br />Jim Taylor, Tom Windisch, Kris Birch <br />Absent: Mat Rauschendorfer <br />Staff Present: Shayla Syverson, Parks Planner <br />Debi Close, Parks Secretary <br />Jim Taylor called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m. <br />I. Approval of Minutes from May Meeting <br />Strub made a motion, Windisch seconded to approve the minutes of the May 9, 2012 Parks <br />Commission meeting. <br />Aye — Berger, Boland, Clarke, Strub, Taylor, Windisch <br />Abstained — Joan Benner <br />Motion Carried. <br />II. Lions Park Master Planning <br />Parks Planner, Shayla Syverson updated on a meeting held with Brauer and Associates about <br />master planning Lions Park. Stakeholders were identified and they established attentive <br />meeting schedules. The stakeholder meetings are scheduled for July 11 and August 8, 2012 At <br />the Parks Commission meeting of September 12 the concept plans will be presented to the <br />Parks Commission. <br />Clarke made a motion, Birch seconded to recommend Birch, Strub and Windisch be on the <br />planning committee. It was also recommended that the City Council be asked to have a <br />representative participate. <br />All Aye. Motion Carried. <br />
