The Parks Commission directed staff to research the steps involved in having a booth at Good Neighbor Days that would showcase the new park design and to share those findings at the next Parks Commission meeting on May 13, 2015. VI. Forest Lake YMCA Board of Directors At the April 6, 2015 City Council meeting staff shared with the City Council that the Forest Lake YMCA has contacted the City and is seeking a representative from each of the surrounding communities to become a member on the Forest Lake YMCA Board of Directors. The City Council directed staff to see if a Parks Commissioner was interested in serving on the board. Morris expressed interest in serving on the Forest Lake YMCA Board of Directors. The Parks Commission directed staff to consider Morris for the position and to also give the remaining Commissioners until April 14, 2015 to express interest. VII. Hardwood Creek Trail Grand Opening Parks Planner, Shayla Denaway shared with the Commissioners that staff has recently been notified that Washington County has scheduled a Grand Opening for the Hardwood Creek Trail on May 14, 2015. Denaway will provide more details to the Commissioners as they become available. VIII. Adjournment Tennyson made a motion, Strub seconded to adjourn the meeting at 8:34 pm. All Aye.
