members agreed with the Parks Commission members to monitor activity for at the Irish <br />Avenue Park for one year to then rediscuss uses of this property. <br />All Parks Commission members agreed to continually keep residents informed of the <br />interim use with reminder of the land purchase intent being for a large scale park with <br />many amenities. <br />III. Lions Park Update <br />Parks Planner Shayla Denaway updated the Commission on the City Council's <br />discussion at their mid -year budget review workshop. The City Council generally <br />agreed that the cost of the planned park improvements was more than expected and <br />asked the Parks Commission to strategies. The Parks Commission shared ideas and <br />also discussed how to possibly use the recently dedicated land in the interim. <br />IV. Recreation Program Annual Report <br />Parks Planner Shayla Denaway provided and update on recreation programs. <br />Tour De Hugo: Saturday, September 12th <br />Movie Night in the Park: Friday, September 18 <br />V.
