MINUTES
HUGO BOARD OF ADJUSTMENTS AND APPEALS
MARCH 11, 2004
Chairperson Schumann called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.
PRESENT: Puleo, Schumann
ABSENT: Brunotte
ALSO PRESENT: Kendra Lindahl, Planner
Michele Lindau, Secretary
Minutes February 12, 2004
Puleo made motion, Schumann seconded, to recommend approval of the minutes of
February 12, 2004 as submitted.
All Ayes. Motion carried.
BriRa Variances for Accessory Building
The Board continued the public hearing to consider the application of Richard and
Jacqueline Brilla, 8665 132nd St. N. to construct a 1,890 square foot accessory
building closer to the road than the principal structure, and have an exterior finish
that does not match the siding type of the principal structure.
The Board considered the application at the February 12 meeting and tabled it.
The neighbor to the east of the Brilla property had questioned whether the
building could be located elsewhere on the property. The applicant was not
present at that time to answer questions.
The applicant was present this meeting while the neighbor was not. The Board
reviewed the survey and found the location of the building would not obstruct the
view from the neighbor's home.
Puleo made motion, Schumann seconded, to recommend approval of the request
to locate the accessory building closer to the road than the principal structure.
All Ayes. Motion carried.
