Board of Zoning and Adjustments Meeting—June 26, 2014- page 2 <br />residence and septic. <br />Board Member Boland asked the applicant if there were designs made for the proposed house. <br />Gordon Gilde stated there are no plans yet until the buildable square footage is determined. <br />Board Member Gwynn asked the applicant what street the driveway access will be. Gilde <br />answered access will be on to 122"d Street N. <br />Board Member Boland asked staff if the surrounding properties are guided Large Lot Residential <br />(LL). Planner Juba answered saying yes. Boland stated he agreed with the staff's <br />recommendation to deny the side yard setback. <br />Board Member Gwynn opened the public hearing. No one from the public commented. <br />Chairman Gwynn closed the public hearing. <br />Boland made a motion, Gwynn seconded, to recommend the approval to the City Council of the <br />shoreland variances to allow the building setback to be 57 feet from the Ordinary High Water <br />(OHW) mark of Sunset Lake, where 100 feet is required by ordinance and the septic system <br />setback to be 50 feet from the Ordinary High Water (OHW) mark of Sunset Lake, where 75 feet <br />is required by ordinance. <br />All Ayes. Motion carried. <br />Boland made a motion, Gwynn seconded, to recommend the denial to the City Council of the <br />side yard variance to allow a building to be 10 feet from the east side property line, where 20 feet <br />is required by ordinance. <br />All Ayes.
