A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND ORDERING THE
PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE 147th STREET AND
ONEKA LAKE BOULEVARD STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, a motion approved by the City Council on December 21, 2015,called for the City's
consultant City Engineer to prepare a feasibility study related to the proposed 1471h Street
and Oneka Lake Boulevard street improvements. The nature of the improvements
includes roadway reconstruction, storm drainage, and appurtenant work; and
WHEREAS, such feasibility report was received by the City Council at the February 1, 2016,regular
City Council meeting; and
WHEREAS, a Resolution of the City Council adopted on February 1, 2016, fixed a date for a Public
Hearing on the proposed improvements to be held on March 7, 2016; and
WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was given, and the
hearing was held thereon on the 7"day of March, 2016, at which time all persons desiring
to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon.
NOW THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HUGO,MINNESOTA:
1. Such improvements are necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in the feasibility report.
2. Such improvement is hereby ordered as outlined in the feasibility report adopted the I It day of
February, 2016.
3. WSB &Associates, Inc. is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. The engineer shall
prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement.
Whereupon said resolution was moved for adoption by Council member Klein and duly seconded by
Council member Petryk.
Council members voting AYE: Petryk, Haas, Miron, Klein, and Weidt
Council members voting NAY: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 7th March
