STAFF PRESENT: City Administrator Bryan Bear, Public Works Director Scott Anderson,
Senior Engineering Technician Steve Duff, City Engineer Jay Kennedy, Planner Rachel Juba,
Parks Planner Shayla Syverson, Community Development Intern Connor Schaefer, and City
Clerk Michele Lindau
The Council met at the Blue Heron for the Hugo Business Association (HBA) Business
Networking Breakfast. There were approximately 35 attendees. Mike Weitekamp, from
Minnesota Waste Wise, discussed a free program to save businesses money on their trash bills
followed by Mayor Tom Weidt's State of the City address.
