SATURDAY, APRIL 24, 2014
5:30 P.M.
PRESENT: Haas, Petryk, Weidt
ABSENT: Bronk, Klein
ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Bryan Bear
Approximately 100 city officials from around the metro area attended this meeting held at the
University Club in St. Paul. The guest speaker was meteorologist Dr. Mark Seeley who spoke
on extreme weather, with particular facts and insights on Minnesota's weather patterns and
history. He also emphasized the statistics of this past winter, noting that Northern Minnesota
frost depths reached 95 inches, causing widespread pipe freezes in many cities.
A brief business meeting was also conducted to elect new board officers and members.
