DREAM OF WILD HEALTH CELEBRATION
SATURDAY, AUGUST 24, 2013
NOON — 3 P.M.
Present: Klein, Petryk, Weidt
Absent: Bronk, Haas
The Council met at the Dream of Wild Health location at 16085 Jeffrey Avenue North.
This was an opportunity for the Council to meet with the group in a celebration of native
foods grown and prepared by the Garden Warriors. The Garden Warriors Apprenticeship
program provides a safe place for Native teens to learn about their culture, traditional
farming, and health, while developing leadership and job skills. A meal of Walleye was
prepared by a chef from the Red Lake Indian Reservation.
All Ayes. Motion carried.
