Staff also present: City Administrator Bryan Bear
MnDOT representatives provided information to approximately 100 area residents and business
owners on the Highway 61 project. This project will affect traffic on TH61 between Highway 96
in White Bear Lake and Highway 97 in Forest Lake. Work is scheduled to begin in July with the
replacement of four culverts. Mill and pavement overlay work will be done in September and
October. The project also includes a new traffic signal to be installed at the intersection of
Buffalo Road and Highway 61 to include a flashing yellow arrow on the left turn signal.
