INTERVIEWS FOR PLANNING COMMISSION
Mayor Fran Miron called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Present: Mayor Fran Miron; Council Members Klein, Petryk, and Weidt; Planning
Commission Chair Rick Gwynn, City Administrator Bryan Bear
Absent: Haas
The purpose of the meeting was to interview applicants for vacancies on the Planning
Commission. At its July 2, 2012 meeting, the City Council had declared the seat of Adam
Moore vacant on the Planning Commission. Staff posted the notice of vacancy and received
two applications for the positions.
The Council conducted oral interviews with Mike Gallivan and Dennis (Corky) Lessard.
After discussion, Council agreed both were very qualified applicants and selected Corky
Lessard to fill the vacant seat on the Planning Commission. This will be added to the
agenda for the next regularly scheduled Council meeting October 1, 2012 for formal
appointment to the Planning Commission.
Petryk made motion, Klein seconded, to adjourn at 8:10 p.m.
All Ayes. Motion carried.
