LIONS PARK PLANNING WORKSHOP
PRESENT: Council Members Phil Klein, Becky Petryk, and Tom Weidt
ABSENT: Mayor Fran Miron, Council Member Chuck Haas
ALSO PRESENT: Community Development Director Bryan Bear, Public Works Director Scott
Anderson, and Planner Shayla Syverson
The City held a planning workshop for the development of the Lions Park property located
directly west of Hugo City Hall. Stakeholders including representatives of the Lions Club, Hugo
Good Neighbors Food Shelf and residents participated. A visual preference survey was held and
discussed.
Next steps were discussed, and the date for a second meeting was set. A second public
workshop will be held on Tuesday, October 18 at 7:00pm at Hugo City Hall.
