HUGO FIRE DEPARTMENT RELIEF ASSOCIATION MEETING
WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 19, 2011
PRESENT: Mayor Fran Miron, Council Members Chuck Haas, Phil Klein, Becky Petryk, and
Tom Weidt
ABSENT: None
ALSO PRESENT: Community Development Director Bryan Bear
The Hugo City Council attended the meeting of the Hugo Fire Department Relief Association at
the Hugo Fire Hall. The majority of the discussion was on switching the financial advisor for the
Association and consideration of a new investment strategy.
Council discussed possible voluntary contributions to the pension fund, and whether the pension
payout amount should be increased
Colvard and Bieniek agreed to meet with Don Schoeller to discuss investment options. The Fire
Relief Association will meet again on November 3, 2011 at 6 p.m. to decide whether to change
investment advisors.
