This meeting of the I-35 W/E Coalition included representatives from City Councils of
Hugo, Lino Lakes, Centerville, and Forest Lake and Washington County and Anoka
County.
Update on CSAH 14/I -35E Interchange Proiect
Anoka County Engineer Doug Fischer provided an update on the CSAH14/I-35E
interchange project. This is a $18.5 million dollar project with construction to be
completed by June, 2011. Lunda Construction was awarded the contract with a bid of
$10.7M and 1 %2 year construction schedule.
Updates From Cities and Counties on the Comp Plan and Transportation
Implications
Each of the cities and counties provided updates on current projects and activities in their
respective jurisdictions.
Discussion on Elmcrest Avenue/24"' Avenue
Hugo Community Development Director Bryan Bear spoke about the need to include a
future study of this shared border with the Anoka County Corridor Study.

Discussion on CSAH 4/801h Street East and 1-35E Interchange
Anoka County Engineer Doug Fisher stated that Anoka County would like to include a
future corridor study of this in a future CIP. They will take a leadership role.
Update on Rush Line Corridor
Councilmember Tom Weidt reported that notices will be sent out soon for a new bus line.
Update on Yellow Ribbon Task Force
Councilmember Phil Klein reported that the cities of Hugo and Stillwater along with
Washington County recently were recognized with proclamations from Governor Tim
Pawlenty as Yellow Ribbon Network Cities. A March 14th Pheasant Hunt at Wildwings
for service men and women has been scheduled
Schedule Next Meeting Date and Set Future Agenda
It was agreed to schedule the next 1-35 W/E Coalition meeting for June 24, 2010 at 6:00
p.m. at Hugo City Hall beginning with a BBQ.
