CITY COUNCIL MEETING
MINUTES FOR THE TH61/147TH STREET INTERSECTION
RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2010 AT 11:00 A.M.

Also Present: State Representative Matt Dean, City Administrator Mike Ericson, Community
Development Director Bryan Bear, City Planner Rachel Simone, Community Development
Assistant Dennis Fields, Administrative Intern Jill Van DenHuevel, and City Clerk Michele
Lindau
The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for the TH61/147th Street intersection project was held to
celebrate the completion of the intersection improvements including the installation of a traffic
signal.
Staff, Council and residents in the area met at the intersection next to the Subway restaurant
where Mayor Fran Miron spoke along with several residents and businesses owners in the area
who are appreciative of the intersection improvements. WSB & Associates provided light
refreshments.
