MINUTES FOR NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING WITH RESIDENTS
City Hall/Lions Park Neighborhood
Proposed Street &Utility Improvement Project
October 25, 2010 at 7:00 pm
Hugo City Hall Council Chambers
Present Petryk, Klein, Weidt, Miron
Absent: Haas
Others Present: Bryan Bear — Community Development Director, Jay Kennedy - City
Engineer, Diane Hankee — WSB & Associates, Steve Duff - Senior Engineering
Technician,
The City held an informal meeting to provide residents information regarding the
proposed street improvement project in the City Hall/Lions Park neighborhood. The
meeting was well attended by residents. The residents in attendance were not in favor of
doing a street improvement project at this time. There is potential for areas to develop in
the neighborhood area and at that time the infrastructure should be looked at. Residents
along 145th Street were interested in the sidewalks being replaced with the understanding
there is no assessment for this work and marking a bike path on the existing roadway
surface.
The City staff provided handouts of the information provided at the meeting, and will
also post the handout on the City's web site.
Respectfully Submitted,
Steve Duff
Senior Engineering Technician
