INTERVIEWS FOR PLANNING COMMISSION
Mayor Miron called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
Present: Haas, Klein, Petryk, Weidt, Miron
Absent: None
Others Present: Community Development Director Bryan Bear, Planning Commision
Chair Dave Schumann
The purpose of the meeting was to interview applicants for vacancies on the Planning
Commission caused by the resignations of Doug Galler and Greg Burmeister, who have
both moved out of the City of Hugo. There were three applicants for the position.
The Council conducted oral interviews with Rick Gwynn and Scott Arcand who were
present, and Rebecca Neamy via a conference call.
After discussion, Council agreed there were three very qualified applicants and chose
Rick Gwynn and Scott Arcand to fill the vacant seats on the Planning Commission. This
will be added to the agenda for the next regularly scheduled Council meeting on
September 21, 2009 for formal appointment to the Planning Commission.
Council adjourned at 9:15 p.m.
