MINUTES FOR NEIGHBORHOOD MEETING
MONDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2009
6:30 P.M. AND 7:00 P.M.
HUGO CITY HALL ONEKA ROOM
6:30 P.M. Meeting
Acting Mayor Becky Petryk called the meeting to order at 6:35 p.m.
Present: Klein, Petryk, Weidt
Absent: Haas, Miron
Also present: City Engineer Jay Kennedy and Senior Engineer Technician Steve Duff
A meeting was held to allow residents within the newly completed 2009 street
reconstruction area around the Hugo Elementary School to discuss their experience with
the recently completed project. There were no residents who attended.
Klein made motion, Weidt seconded, to adjourn at 6:40 p.m.
All Ayes. Motion carried.
7:00 P.M. Meeting
Acting Mayor Becky Petryk called the meeting called to order at 7:05 p.m.
Present: Klein, Petryk, Weidt, Miron at 7:30 p.m.
Absent: Haas
Also present: City Engineer Jay Kennedy and Senior Engineer Technician Steve Duff
A meeting was held to gather input from residents living in the neighborhood located at
the northeast corner of TH61 and CSAH 8 (Egg Lake Road) for a potential 2010 street
reconstruction project.
There were 8 property owners represented at the meeting. Jay's presentation provided
background on the project selection, project funding, cost to residents, and time line for
the project. Jay and Steve answered residents questions and concerns regarding the
proposed project. The overall group consensus was to proceed with the process of a
possible street and utility reconstruction for 2010.
Weidt made motion, Klein seconded, to adjourn at 8:15 p.m.
All Ayes. Motion carried.
