MINUTES FOR THE HUGO CITY COUNCIL MEETING OF MAY 20, 2008 <br />(PC Interviews) <br />Acting Mayor Becky Petryk called the meeting to order at 6:40 pm. <br />PRESENT: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron (arrived at 6:45 p.m.) <br />City Administrator Mike Ericson and Planning Commission Chair Dave Schumann <br />ABSENT: None <br />This special meeting was called to conduct an interview for the current vacancy on the Planning <br />Commission due to the resignation of Kelly Bailly. <br />INTERVIEW BY CITY COUNCIL <br />Mayor Fran Miron, Council members, and Planning Commission Chair Dave Schumann conducted <br />an oral interview of the five applicants: Greg Burmeister, Chantell Knauss, Doug Galler, Carmen <br />Carter, and Spencer McLachlan. <br />DIRECTION TO STAFF <br />City Administrator Mike Ericson distributed ballots to the Council and Planning Commission Chair <br />Schumann. Mike tallied the votes and Council discussed the results, which will be publicly <br />announced at the June 2, 2008 Council meeting. The successful candidate will fill the term of Kelly <br />Bailley, which is set to expire on December 31, 2009. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Granger made motion, Haas seconded, to adjourn at 8:35 p.m. <br />All aye.
