FRIDAY, MAY 30, 2008
The meeting was called to order Acting Mayor Becky Petryk.
PRESENT: Council Members Becky Petryk, Frank Puleo, Chuck Haas, City Administrator
Ericson, Fire Chief Jim Compton, emergency management personnel, and members of the
public and media.
ABSENT: Mayor Miron, Council Member Granger
Council Member Chuck Haas addressed the media with information related to Saturday's
clean-up event and answered questions of the media.
A post press conference meeting was held afterward at 3:25 p.m.
Present: Acting Mayor Petryk, Council Members Puleo and Haas.
Absent: Mayor Miron, Council Member Granger
Also Present: Fire Chief Jim Compton and Nate Ehalt.
There was discussion on the location of media trucks for the event and they are planning on
parking them by Oneka Elementary.
Long Term Recovery Coordinator Nate Ehalt reported on Saturday, May 31, 2008, Cleanup
Volunteer efforts.
A woman, whose house was damaged by the storm, had a heart attack yesterday afternoon,
May 29, 2008 at 4:30 pm.
Emergency Management Directors from Washington County will open up EOC today in the
Oneka Room to help manage the clean-up event.
Chuck Haas would speak with the media at the clean up event on Saturday.
Council Member Haas made motion, Puleo seconded, to adjourn at 3:50 p.m.
