The meeting was call to order by Mayor Fran Miron at 12:OOp.m.
Present: Mayor Fran Miron and Council Members Chuck Haas and Becky Petryk
Absent: Council Member Mike Granger and Frank Puleo
Council Member Chuck Haas spoke about the clean up effort that started this morning
and will continue through this afternoon. Currently, the clean up effort is going very
well. The volunteers are working on both sides of highway 61. Cleaning up debris from
farm fields as well as the "hot zone" area. At this point we are not scheduling another
large-scale clean-up day, and the 8:OOp.m. Status Report has been cancelled this evening.
Council Member Haas thanked the volunteers for their efforts and their continued support
for the residents in Hugo. He also thanked the media for their coverage and assistance in
relaying the messages as this week had progressed.
Questions were taken and answered by the Council Members.
