At 6:30 p.m. attendees gathered for light refreshments provided by City of Columbus, and the
meeting began at approximately 7:00 p.m.
I-35E/CSAH 14 Bridge Replacement
Anoka County Engineer Doug Fischer spoke about the I-35E/CSAH14 interchange project
which is still on schedule for 2009. Additional funding is still needed for the project.
Route 288
Commissioner Dennis Hegberg and Ann Pung-Terwedo from Washington County presented the
Service Continuation Proposal/ Metro Transit Taxing District for Route 288
Hugo May 25L—" Tornado Disaster
The City of Hugo's Mayor Fran Miron spoke about the May 25, 2008 tornado disaster in Hugo
and the recovery process and thanked everyone for their support.
Discussion on Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT) Training
The City of Centerville's Mayor Mary Capra spoke about the CERT Training.
City and County Updates
Attendees provided updates on their respective Cities and Counties.
Schedule Next Meeting
It was agreed to schedule the next I-35 W/E Coalition meeting for Thursday, March 19, 2009.
Adjournment
The meeting adjourned at 10:00 p.m.
